First acceptance, guess I won't have to worry about getting in no where

I received my first acceptance today from the University of Utah which is the same school Ed Catmull, the President of Pixar and Disney Animation, graduated from. I'm very happy because I was rejected last year and I would guess that it was because of my missing LOR. I'm very glad that I decided to find another LOR to replace him when I did this time around. I would probably be reading a rejection letter if I didn't.

Congrats, I feel like everyone who's posted more than 10 comments on the board is congratulating you! I hope you aren't missing people's status updates, because 4 of the ones showing on the front page congratulate you by name, which is more than I've seen for anyone else. More might have been bumped off the bottom! Congrats man.

I did see all the status updates and enjoy the feeling of being acknowledged. Thanks again folks. I honestly wasn't expecting anything till March. Their admissions site even says that admissions results will be available by April 1st.
