  1. I'm applying to a school for a second time and submitted significantly better GRE scores this year. However, the school retains GRE scores for several years and therefore lists both in my application, even though I used the ScoreSelect option. I know schools are only supposed to consider the better test, but is this really the case if they can see both?
  2. I am required to enclose an unofficial GRE report and intend to use a scan of the score as it is listed on the ETS website. However, the website lists an earlier score that I am reluctant to include and a test that I had to skip due to unforeseen circumstances. Any advice? Should I black these out?
  3. Thoughts on including 2-3 personal interests as the last line of my CV? Furthermore, how quirky can you get? (For instance, is something like "beer brewing" or "wine culture" acceptable?)
  4. Is it appropriate/common to list potential advisers from outside your subfield or from your secondary subfield?
  5. 1. Only a few schools specifically ask applicants to list their intended subfield(s). I assume we should list these subfields regardless? 2. If a student is interested in or required to pursue a major subfield and a minor subfield, it is appropriate to list potential POIs from either subfield?
