  1. Though decisions! A few years ago, I completed McGill’s experimental surgery (w thesis) program. At the time, most of my classmates where either medical doctors or newly graduated undergraduate who were trying to get into medicine. Out of the latter, few succeeded and many went on to do research or they left for another health profession (like myself). The program was an interesting learning experience and I don’t regret it. Feel free to private message me if you have further questions good luck
  2. I aggree, Canadians students should have their own forum (a new one could be started called "2018 Slp canada" or something)
  3. your subGPA should be all your courses that you took at your university (fall/winter/summer) regardless if you took time off. Orpas will calculate your GPA for you in january after the application deadline. Just focus on applying.
  4. Does any one know the number of applicants that Western and Dalhousie accept in audiology? thanks
  5. Can't seem to find any audiology forums so I'm going to post here and hope there are any people trying for audiology. I'm applying to audiology at Western and U of O. My cummulative GPA = 3.7 and my GPA = 3.48. Currently, I have about 120 volunteer hours at an Otolaryngology research facility it was their that I did my bachelors honours project focusing on hearing loss. However, I am worried about getting in due to my GPA. As anyone gotten in with such a low GPA? thanks
