Like many of you I was also waitlisted for the 2 year MSW at U of T.  I will not be remaining on the Waitlist, as I have accepted my offer of admission from UBC Okanagan.

I submitted my last document (resume) on December 14th, but everything else was in around the 10th.  Don't worry at all though, I remember reading last year that everyone's statuses slowly and randomly changed from Documents Received to Under Review.  As long as it doesn't say Documents Pending I think you're good!

Congrats again to those of you who have been accepted and fingers crossed for those of us still waiting!

I applied to the 2 year MSW programs at both York and U of T and haven't heard anything yet from either. My York myfile still says No Decision Yet and my ROSI still says No Registration History. I'm trying really hard to remain positive but at this point I'm pretty much just hoping to be wait listed for at least one of the program's so that I can at least say "I was close".

I just want to say that I am so happy I found this forum, because I truly thought my chances were about 50/50 after reading the admissions criteria while applying, however after reading this forum I now realize just how competitive it is and that my level of experience (the one place on my application that I feel was really lacking) is simply not enough to cut it. Maybe next year! Although there might not be a next year for me, as my "plan b" is a very different path (remaining in the financial industry where I am currently employed). However, now that I have an idea of what I was competing against for a spot, I won't be as surprised or upset if I am ultimately rejected from both programs.

In any event I want to thank you all for your posts, encouragement and information over the past few months! These universities are getting some truly amazing future social workers!

CONGRATS!! That's wonderful news! You must be thrilled. Mine still has those 3 soul crushing red words. I'm terrified to check SGS and see Decision Made! Anyone else having heart failure?

This is my first post, but I have spent the last 2 days reading all 80 pages of this forum, so I feel pretty up to date on everything! I applied to the 2 year MSW programs at both York and U of T, and haven't heard anything from either school yet! Before reading all of these posts I truly felt as though my chances were 50/50. I wouldn't have been surprised if I was rejected, but I also thought I had a pretty good shot of getting in. WELL! As much as I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone's posts and was happy to read that so many people feel the exact same way I do, it also made me 100 times more nervous! I can't believe some people have already gotten acceptances to the 2 year programs at U of T and York! Although I have thought about it every day since submitting my application, I did not think I would hear anything until April, and did not know ROSI existed! So, now I am obsessively refreshing ROSI and checking my email like the rest of you guys! All I can say is I am so happy we're in this together because this is so stressful! Fingers crossed for all of us still waiting to hear and congratulations to everyone who has received acceptances thus far!!
