  1. Reviving this thread LOL, Has anyone heard back from Northeastern? I noticed their counseling program got notified and just wanted to check in on others. I've heard back from my other programs and I really was hoping to also hear back from Northeastern by now!
  2. Hi! Also been reading threads from past year and find it crazy that I am now in the process of applying. I am applying to: UCSB Northeastern Univeristy of Maryland & Lehigh Still debating whether I should apply to some more programs, since this does not seem like a lot!
  3. Does anyone have any experience/information about UC Berkeley's program? Specifically whether students are funded and the research opportunities available? Thanks!
  4. Hey everyone, I have a question about your interview experiences. What kind of demographic is most common at these interviews and the students you meet at the school? I have heard that the field is predominately White, Non-Hispanic women, and each school psychologist I know fits that description. Have you noticed any changes in this trend during your interviews? Which were the most 'diverse' (and this can be in terms of age, experiences, race, whatever) programs you saw? Also, best of luck on these interviews. Excited (and nervous) to be in the same place as you all this time next year.
  5. Hi everyone! I am a current senior undergrad right now, and I was curious as to how any applicants spent any gap years before applying to ph.d programs! I am planning to take a gap year, and am wondering what the best way for me to spend my time would be. I have been offered both a child development research assistant position and more applied positions such as an assistant behavioral therapist and an associate teacher. I am having a hard time deciphering which kind of job would be best to take. Any suggestions? I have both decent experience with children from undergraduate (with all kinds of students), and research experience (although no publications or presentations, I was just a head research assistant). I appreciate all your advice, and I would love to hear about what you may have done during your gap years!
