GRE Score - 329 Q-167 V-162 AWA-4.5 Toefl -112 Interested field - MS in CS (ML/ALgorithms/ Data Analytics) UG: B.Tech in CS College: St. Thomas' College of Engineering & Technology, Kolkata University : West Bengal University of Technology Final Overall Percentage : 7.23/10(This will hurt my chances big time.) Academic Projects: - Major Project - Analysis, Comparison and Implementation of Image Segmentation and Compression Techniques and its applications in Medical Imaging. Work Experience: -I have a 29 month work experience as a Web Application developer in Cognizant during which I worked in 3 projects. 1. Part of a 2 man team that developed in-house project where I worked on developing an auditing software where project managers would recieve a consolidated visualisation of their project stats by feeding monthly/quarterly/annual project data. 2. Worked on developing a project+ resources related portal for Bank of New York Mellon. This served as the information 'Hub' of various projects across the globe. 3. A Human resource portal for Citi to track employee data(personal learning details to project performance trends) -Technology Used- Worked on C#,C#,Java,Oracle10g,Javascript,Jquery, Internship: - Disha Infotech - Worked on designing a Ticket Reservation System. LORs - 1) Prof under whom I worked during my major project - Strongish 2) Dept HOD- Moderate 3) College Professor - Strong Publications: No papers Published -Working on a paper right now but may not be able to have it published in time for applications. Extracurricular Activities: - Taught Mathematics and English at centers for underprivileged children as part of my company's community outreach program on weekends for over a year. - I am also an avid long distance runner. (Should I mention this in my application/SOP?) Here are the universities I've shortlisted till now: 1. Rochester Institute of Technology 15. Washington University in St. Louis 16. Arizona State University Please grade the Unis as Ambi/Mod/Safe based on the strengths and weaknesses of my profile.
