  1. I am an international applicant with a Master's in Biotechnology. I thought I had done with school and hence did not pursue the doctorate. That was a long time ago. My interests are in interdisciplinary areas like Biological Chem, Bioorganic Chem. I am applying to Master's programs in Chemistry at Purdue, Brandeis, UNC Chapel Hill and (a new program) at U Penn ( MCS). Most of these programs do not ask for the subject test. I was not sure if I would be able to cope up with the Chemistry part of the coursework and hence I wrote the subject test in Chemistry. Scored 92 percentile. I wrote the GRE y'day and the unofficial scores are 164 (Q) and 157 (V). I have 8 months of research experience in Molecular Biology. Regarding academics: my Master's GPA is 9.29 on a 10 point scale, while my undergrad is not good. I made a mistake of going the Engineering route and have had lots of time to regret that mistake. My question is: can I do something further to better my application? Thank you.
