Just got admissions from these universities as a Master student in Electrical Engineering for fall 2016. Could anyone please give me some advice on where to go? I would first give my priority to the convenience in finding a job,then goes to how friendly the place is to the LGBT people. All kinds of advice is welcomed here!

Just admitted to Applied Ocean Science for Fall 2016 as a Master student. I see UCSD is one of the few school in US with this major. I am passionate about the ocean,but I have no idea if this major is promising or not,given its popularity. My undergraduate major is Electrical Engineering. While I obtained a really good grade out of my undergrad,I don't really enjoy this major. However,having idea that"EE is promising",I painstakingly finished my bachelor's degree. So my question here is,should I go for what I really enjoy and possibly end up with unemployment,or continue to something I am not interested in and get a dull job? Looking forward to your advices!!

Just admitted by UCSD. Could someone please tell me if UCSD is a LGBT friendly place or not? Has anyone from UCSD heard of the major "Applied Ocean Science"? It is a interdisciplinary major,maintaining by Scripps and Jacob school of engineering. I just got admitted by this major. If someone could tell me if this major is worthwhile to take,that would be great!!
