  1. Who else was accepted to Ryerson's MSW and will be going to the orientation in July?
  2. Anyone know when Ryerson typically has their orientation or when the placement planning starts?
  3. They called my house and sent an email. My sis did not change at all
  4. I think so to. To reconsider everyone each time a spot opens would be a waste of their time and illogical. I'm sure they know whose next on the list
  5. UofT has a really big waitlist. As long as you meet the basic criteria and your references and statement are good, people will end up on it.
  6. Hey check out indeed.ca and search immigration for toronto. There's a ton of jobs currently available to help with greater housing, employment ore even with working on ending discrimination for immigrants. It's a great focus and there are many people who want to work on creating more inclusive mental health organizations. And if you are fluent in other languages you will thrive!
  7. @andwewaitThe Social work building is next to the river so you'll definitely enjoy it. Plus the social work community is really small and super close so your placement supervisor will really try to help you get a job. A lot of the professors like Dr.Grant or Dr.Calderwood have connections to jobs in Toronto or London so talk to your professors about where you want to work!
  8. Thank you so much! Hopefully you get in to a school that you've hoped for! Best of luck
  9. I just got accepted to Ryerson!!!!!!!! Im so happy I totally lost hope. I'm so excited and relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I emailed Angela about the waitlist at UofT and she said they wont be disclosing anything about the wailtlist.
  11. Anything that is less than half of those who are going to be accepted. 12 sounds small so it sounds like you have a great chance
  12. You may have a chance, but Windsor is usually people's last choice lol. So they accept more when ppl have chosen other schools once their acceptances happen. Pppl like to stick to schools where there is a possibility of employment after graduating. Windsor's just not that school/ city. But many schools have small waitlists so don't give up hope!
