Oh my gosh I already can't handle waiting for results. I'm a semi-finalist for a country that releases results in April-May depending on the year. I'm going to be finished with all my classes and perhaps already have walked in convocation for finishing my master's program before even knowing!!!!!!!

Wow, that was enlightening. I'm surprised in the two cycles I've applied my advisors have never mentioned this! Do you know if those documents for previous years are still available, or did you happen to save them?

So from what I understand, certain countries, but not all, have interviews, and if one were to advance after the interview, they would be considered a "finalist." But what about countries that do not conduct interviews? One would go from semi finalist to either winning a grant, or being rejected, without a finalist stage?

For 2013-2014 we were notified at 3:47pm. I imagine it's tempting for them to wait till the last second of the work day to hit the send button and then get out as fast as possible.

iiiiiiinteresting. If I understand correctly, the past two years you applied, you got an email about the Swiss scholarship form in December, but nothing official saying you were recommended. Then in January you were indeed recommended; you suspect that only the recommended people get the email in December, but it is not official and we can't really be sure. Did I get all that? So did you hear any news on Friday?

Hi, Does anyone have any insight into the timeline of recommendation results for Switzerland? From what I understand most people get notified in January, but for Switzerland I believe it is sometime in December because Swiss recommended applicants have to fill out an additional Swiss government application form in December. Any day now I guess...? Thanks!
