I applied to the developmental track and had a Skype interview on the 19th. My POI said she'd be in touch, but I haven't heard anything in a week. Getting disheartened considering the interview dates are coming up so soon... But then again there are still people posting on the results page that they are receiving requests for phone interviews. UVA seems to be cutting it real close to their actual interview dates and they kind of seem to be all over the place depending on POI and department. Such an agonizing wait!

Hey, congrats on the interview! I also skype interviewed with my POI at UCSC (developmental) 2 weeks ago but I wasn't aware that they weren't doing an interview weekend. Did your POI tell you that they weren't doing one? So much more pressure knowing that the skype interview was the only one they'll be doing! Also, I was told I'd hear back within 2 weeks but haven't heard anything yet. Did your POI give you any details about when they would send out decisions? Thanks & good luck!
