I'm not sure if you've been here but on the American Psychological-Law Society (Division 41 of the APA) site, they have a list of schools that have a forensic emphasis. Here's the link: http://www.apadivisions.org/division-41/education/programs/index.aspx.
I don't think this list is comprehensive, but it's a place to keep searching.
I faced the same situation as you: choosing between a value school or a name brand school in the area. I finally made my decision after visiting the campuses and talking with people there. The visit really helped to cement my decision so if you haven't had a chance to do a campus visit, perhaps that will help?
I was just accepted into the Forensic Psychology program at GWU. Could I pick your brain about what to expect? Anything insight would be greatly appreciated!
