  1. I'm pretty sure most people rely on loans or savings since other than the merit scholarship amount, they don't give you any more financial payment.
  2. Oh no that awful! Do you know how that happened? Was it a big difference from the mistaken amount?
  3. same! it'll be tricky to figure out housing without seeing/knowing the area. does anyone know the average class size?
  4. Yay!! We have 3 weeks left to send our acceptances!
  5. I believe I will be attending UPitt in the fall! Anyone else??
  6. I see a Fall 2016 amount and a Spring 2017 amount, so does that mean our yearly scholarship is the combination of the two?
  7. That's awesome! Smartie! Has anyone gotten word of scholarships yet?
  8. That's amazing!!! Congratulations!! Do you mind telling what your gap is and what experiences you had? I'm trying to estimate what scholarship amount I can hope to get!
  9. Just talked to admissions and they said all scholarships were sent out on Friday
  10. Interesting! Thanks for sharing! I did not get that call or know anything about a Monday email... did you apply under special circumstances or anything?
  11. Congrats!! How'd you hear?? Email? Mail? Portal?
  12. Who else is anxious hearing back about UPitt scholarship? I think I might end up here and would be great to hear from other admits!
  13. Are you guys picking schools based on affordability? Location? Ranking? I think cost will be the biggest factor for me in the end
  14. Totally agreeing with this- although CWRU is "highly ranked," it does not really matter much for an MSW since we'll all be doing the same thing in the end. Also considering that aside from merit scholarship, there is no financial assistance except for loans, which is a lot to take on considering the cost of tuition and fees
  15. money!! i think programs at ivys for msw also have high acceptance rates, but they also have highest costs!
