CSULA had reopened their application for the new one year program the school is offering. I heard they do not have enough people yet. So if anyone had not heard about the status of their app, I think it has to do with that. I received acceptance into the one year program but was told that if they choose to postpone the one year program until 2017, then I would be able to take a spot in their two or three year program. So I think that may be the hold up, I think they are waiting to see how many people they get for the one year program.

Just received provisional acceptance into CSULAs 1 year advanced standing program today. Very excited! It's gonna be at the new DTLA location that the school has. These apps were due back in December of last year. I was also accepted to CSUDH and CSULB waitlisted me. The one year program was my first choice so I will definitely be attending there!

Did you apply for the one year or two year program at csula?

Omg! That's so far away...I received an acceptance letter today for csudh 2 year program...as of now that is my plan unless I get into csula's one year program or csulb accepts me off the waitlist.

Hi Ginabina, I like it alot, the campus is cool, parking is a nightmare though, they jist opened an off campus lot with cheaper parking and a shuttle to campus. I love the faculty, I've only had one teacher that I didn't like and it was for a theme class. Social work faculty are really dedicated to their students' success.

I applied to csula, csudh, and csulb..I applied for advanced standing for csulb and csula (their first year doing this). And the two year for csudh. Csulb has waitlisted me. I received email for interview for csula, which is where I am a current bsw student. I interviewed for csula advanced standing on March 3rd, haven't heard anything back yet. I would love to stay at csula, but I will attend whichever school is meant for me. I have minimal volunteer hours, 4 years working in human services related fields and a 3.52 overall gpa.
