Hey friends - Current master's student here, for some reason reliving the anxiety-inducing rabbit hole that is grad cafe I currently attend a program that does not have an on-campus clinic and I LOVE it. After being here almost a year now and seeing experiences from a couple of my undergrad friends who ended up going to schools with on-campus clinics, I'm still very glad I chose this school. Feel free to ask me any questions!

Congrats on being accepted to UW's program!! They're very competitive. I actually live in Seattle and work at Seattle Children's in their speech department and have visited the UW speech program so if you have any questions feel free to let me know!

Thank you so much! That's really helpful info. I am leaning heavily towards this program but I'm having a hard time justifying the high cost of out of state tuition since I also got accepted to an in-state program. Are you going to be accepting UNC's admission offer?

@slptobe92 Not sure if this'll make you feel better or worse, but I had something similar happen with SCSU where I had sent them my GRE scores but they said my application was incomplete and would be withdrawing my application. I emailed them back and they said they actually had received them but hadn't attached them to my file and would reactivate my account and I ended up getting accepted here. So I'm not sure if it's the same for every case but they probably gave you equal consideration. Again, not sure if that makes you feel better or worse, but I would at least want to know I hadn't been dismissed without proper consideration.

Does anyone have reviews of UNC-Chapel Hill, EWU, University of Northern Colorado or Southern CT State (especially UNC-CH and EWU)? I was accepted to UNC for this coming fall but I've also been accepted to schools that are less expensive, but also far lower ranked. I'm out of state and I know funding is pretty unlikely at UNC for most people- do you think that the cost of attendance is worth it? I want to specialize in craniofacial anomalies which is a large part of why UNC is so attractive to me, as well as the fact that it's a larger research school with more opportunities than a smaller, more local school would offer me. Does anyone have any insights about what the teaching styles at these schools are like? Did you feel prepared for entering the workforce when you graduated (especially from EWU)? I'm unable to go to the UNC open house that's being held today since I live so far away but would appreciate any and all advice you (or anyone else!) has about these schools!
