  1. Look into the SUNY Schools as well, they're a little further away but not all are horribly far (and pretty well priced). I applied with a 3.3 and similar GREs to yours as well as a LOADED resume, but was rejected from most of the schools you listed above. But its hard to say because you never know what you're up against. But I know one of the Grad admissions at one of the schools and she told me one applicant wasn't outstanding on paper but her Letter of intent blew them away so they accepted her. So Don't just think of it as just grades/scores, it's a combination of everything.
  2. ESU Alum here. They only take 1/3 of the incoming class from their undergrad , the waitlist on the other hand is about half ESU. But if you are a PA/NJ res it is SUUUUPER competitive
  3. Baylor SLP Fall 2016 is Invite only, send me a message if you need a link ^-^
  4. I just was pulled off of Baylor's rejection list and was offered a spot to their program. I know its not common, but fingers crossed good news may find you
  5. I agree, I've used quite a few cell phones of different admissions counselors at different universities. I think it's slightly bizarre just to be pulled off a rejection list, and don't want to get excited over nothing, but they said I should receive an email tomorrow. I called the department and was told the person that would call me would be a man with a heavy accent (it was) but when connected to his office he wasn't there. Thank you for your help/suggestion. I'm just in a state of shock, and it just almost seems too good to be true. But my gut tells me it's real, and I wouldn't have questioned it until my parents put the idea it might not be real in my head.
  6. I just received a call from a University (Not going to specify) and they offered me acceptance. I was initally rejected from the program and not put on a waitlist at any point. Another thing about it is that it was from a cell phone and not an office number and I didn't get a name told to me. I'm just super wary because I've never heard of this happening before and don't want to be excited for nothing. Has anyone heard of this / had this happening?
  7. Well I was accepted into my back up plan 14 months masters degree, so I will be in school still for another year and then probably work in that field for a year or so before reapplying. All my schools were actually on the less competitive end, and most people from my university actually didn't get in anywhere (not sure if its my schools rep) because a lot of people have fantastic GPAs. I'm kind of discouraged because I know my GPA isn't strong although my resume and GREs were, but maybe at some other point but, I'm just going to finish my masters in Deaf Education, and maybe reapply
  8. I applied to 13 and was rejected from all as well. Im sorry to see you upset i feel the same way
  9. I have so many haha! Mostly about when did you hear back? I submitted my app in like January and haven't heard anything! I almost went for Undergrad but decided to stay closer to home, I was impressed with their undergrad facilities though
  10. I actually Applied to a MS of Deaf Education as a back-up plan. Just got off the waitlist there. I mean not Ideal since I wanted to get my MS to be an SLP more than anything, but it is a good alternative for me. I'll try again in a few years maybe. Also as a heads up SUNY Cortland has a deadline of July 1st for Speech if you're interested
  11. I'm Waitlisted at EIU (Eastern Illinois University) I've scoured this site high and low and seen no other posts about them, so I'm kind of just chilling in limbo
  12. I'm a Psychopath and managed to get all my SLP notes in one 5 subject notebook over the years, I don't think I could get rid of it if I tried haha. But its super helpful if you need like a quick refresher.
  13. They tweeted me the other day and said that the admissions decisions would be going out this week! (Source:
