I can't make it either (I'm in Albuquerque, NM) but I wish I could. All my money right now is being saved for the move to Boston. Dr. Lof said he knew students from across the country can't usually make it, so I don't think it will look bad if you can't.

I know the OP decided on a MacBook Air, but anyone else looking for a good computer, I suggest looking at sites like TigerDirect.com, Newegg.com and even woot.com for deals and refurbished laptops.

I don't know of any, and I believe that's due to the requirement of clinical supervision. For programs to be accredited, they need to meet the ASHA standards for a clinical supervisor, which is harder to ensure when they are directly overseeing the clinicals.
