  1. Waitlisted from Wayne State :/ Gahhh they said there's only 3 spots left so I'm not feeling super hopeful at all T_____T
  2. Haha! I imagine they'd like to alleviate our anxiety ASAP but I'm too scared to expect anything right now. Regardless if it's a call or an email, I just want it now... I've never felt so nervous for a day before!!
  3. 100% agree with @adragonisnoslave! Definitely have appreciated reading all the posts so far, you guys are such a funny and genuine group, I'm so excited for tomorrow! Even though I also wanna throw up... I can't wait to hear from everyone & bask in everyone's successes! Here's to much good news tomorrow :D!
  4. Man, I thought waiting for the interview was nerve-wracking, but waiting after the interview is definitely worse!! At least before the interview, I could do things to prepare myself. Now, I feel so helpless hahaha my fate's all in their hands and there's not much I can do to change or know their decision :/ How are we supposed to wait a whole month now?!
  5. Finally received a rejection from the University of Michigan today... it hurts a lot more than I thought it would, haha! I had been preparing my heart for this for a while, but I still can't help but feel regret for all the time and money put into the application process for this one school xD Though I'm trying to grasp that it just wasn't meant to be. I guess now I can focus on other things now that it's finally come
  6. Congrats on all your offers!! I also received one to Wayne and am interviewing on March 10! Have you picked a day yet?
  7. Completely identify with what you're feeling. Hearing both about places I have and have not applied to makes me equally anxious. At least we're in the same boat, though! Can't believe this is all happening now, it feels like it snuck up on me (even though I also feel like I've been waiting ages for this time.. haha).
  8. Ooh that's so exciting. I've heard they only do about 30 interviews, so your chances are looking great! For some reason I thought they would email, now I feel like I'm gonna be anxiously holding my phone for the rest of today
  9. That's amazing, Aku!! Congratulations! I have also applied to the University of Michigan, I didn't think they'd send out offers so early on! Which day did you pick to interview on?
  10. Congratulations to everyone on submitting applications! I am also anxiously awaiting responses now, even though I know I won't be hearing from any of the schools I've applied to for quite some time. If anyone is willing to offer some advice to an anxious girl: I held onto my University of Michigan applications until the very last day. The application was due January 5th, and i literally submitted it on the morning of January 5th (hindsight 20/20, this was an awful idea but I just couldn't let go of it at the time). They have a portal where you can review your applications and I just found out that everything was submitted/accepted on January 6th! So now I am pretty upset and contemplating what to do. Should I email the director? Should I leave it be and see what happens? My transcript also hadn't been received by them until January 9th... which is crazy because I submitted it as early as possible and the other school I applied to received it on January 5th. University of Michigan's website says their deadline for ALL materials was strictly January 5th.. but I'm not sure if it would be out of line to email someone on the admissions committee. Any input on this.. would be so appreciated T_T
  11. @UTGC Oh, thanks!! I was worried because I had check a website that said I was ~69th percentile, and I wasn't sure if that was good enough or not. And yeah, I really regret not working harder my first couple years! Thanks for some reassurance though
  12. That's awesome, @weilongli1! You guys are so nice. I was wondering if I could get some advice, I got my score for the GRE and I got a 155V/158Q, and I'm still waiting for my essay scores. My GPA is a 3.32/4.0 right now. Do you guys think these stats are good enough to be considered? I'm contemplating taking the GRE again to improve my score, but the vocab portion is just torture...
  13. Hi! I'm pretty new to this thread, but I'm planning on applying this upcoming fall for the 2017 fall semester. I'm pretty curious about the interviews! Would you mind telling me about the ones you've been to, too? I'm scheduled to take the GRE in 1.5 weeks so I'm getting super nervous, and I know there's a ton more that I need to start preparing for so that I'm not bombarded during my upcoming semester of school :/ I'm glad this thread was started though!
