  1. Ahh right, I will try to talk to a student ambassador to see whether HDP does have a bigger pool of courses to choose from than MBE. Also, how do you find out about the size of the different programs? Looking at gradcafe, I haven't seen a lot of people who applied for HDP or MBE, but of course I could be completely wrong!
  2. Thanks so much, that's really good advice! I've looked through the courses and I think HDP allows me to take a lot of MBE courses but not the other way around.
  3. Hi everyone! So I'm planning on applying to ed schools either this year or the next, and I was wondering if anyone's ever applied to two different programs in one university? My interest lies in developmental neuroscience and education, and I find the Human Development & Psychology and Mind, Brain, Education program in HGSE to be equally interesting! I'd really like to apply to both, but are there any downsides to it? Thanks guys
  4. Hi guys! I'm really interested in the MBE program at HGSE, but I'm not sure how likely it is to gain admission if I don't have any teaching experiences. I'm currently doing my BSc in psychology at the University of Nottingham in the UK. I've volunteered in schools during the summer, and I have quite a few research experiences. I've collected data from child participants for 2 different faculty members during the school year, interned at 2 research labs this summer, and I will be doing my own research project for my last year of uni as well. The professor I interned for this summer have also offered a place for me in their research group, and he mentioned the possibility of publishing a paper with the group (my supervisor for my research project have also suggested this). I have yet to do my GRE, but I would really like to know if anyone has been admitted without any formal teaching experiences! Thanks for your help x
