  1. Hi, I think it's useful to take an in-person course, the teacher's experience will help you identify where you need to put in more effort. This will save you so much time than just you alone keep reading the book. I am doing a free Meetup session to discuss GRE quant exam this Sunday. Feel free to come by, get more advice and further help. Here is my craigslist post: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/lss/5722106731.html Feel free to reach out! good luck, Daitong
  2. Hi, Most universities ask for GRE. I would say it is totally necessary and worth studying for, especially as many students do present a competitive GRE score and you want to stand out. The GPA and other experience are already done, now one thing you can do to add point is GRE. It is not something extra hard, though you need to plan some time to study for it. Advice: 1. Good online course: Magoosh 2. You might want to leave enough time to do 2 attempts - to make sure you are satisfied with your final score. I am organizing a meetup event on 14th August, this Sunday in Manhattan. I will share advice about GRE math, come by if you're around: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/lss/5722106731.html good luck!
  3. Hi guys, For those of you struggling with GRE, especially GRE math, I am holding a meetup event this Sunday to talk about great tips and advice about GRE math test with one-to-one consultation. I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University. I took GRE twice last year and scored 100% on math, which has definitely helped me to get accepted into Columbia University. Many of my friends asked me tips - I have used Magoosh but I made my own problem book and I keep refreshing them and practice looking for keywords. With the right strategy and preparation, I believe everyone can score very high in GRE and especially in math. This Sunday I'm going to talk about how I prepared for GRE, within a short period of time, that would work for people even with little math background. If you're around in New York, please come by, it's for free. If not, you can also contact me or further help at daitong@gooroo.com Please see my Craigslist post for further informaiton at http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/lss/5722106731.html Good luck! Daitong
