I'm applying to grad schools for the fall of 2017 and I was just wondering how big of an impact it would make if a letter of rec came from someone other than a professor? I have maybe two professors that I could ask but don't really know more. I have a management position at my job and I believe I could get a better letter of rec from my boss that says more about my character. Would programs still prefer to see a letter of rec from a professor? Thanks!
