    Just emailed my top choice program for an update and told that the adcom "has reviewed your application and has placed it on hold while the first round of interviews are being conducted. A final decision will be made in a few weeks." Well, at least now I know.. :(

      @DBearThanks! Looking at last year's record I don't think they really do multiple rounds of interview and I think I can expect the rejection letter coming in. I'm still hanging my hopes for few other programs, though.

      Yes! that's why we apply to more than one school! I'm a bit sad that I haven't heard from my top choice yet about interviews but yeah, I've applied to 7 total so.. just gotta get that one admission!!
