I submitted mine on Feb. 1st and my recommenders submitted between Feb 1-16th. I struggle with procrastination but I'm trying to reform before school starts

I look forward to meeting you!!! jennuinne27- I just got the call from Dr. Lee yesterday and he said they still have to secure people who were accepted before going through the waiting list. I haven't heard anything at all about the three year part time program. AutumnSweater-yes! And I wish you the best of luck! i hope to meet all of you soon. By the way, Dr Lee called to offer me the position after I had already accepted through the school and signed up for orientation. So I don't think it's a bad idea to check in take care:)

Hi Nicole, I just got into my MSW program so my experience is not as a professional. I have worked with Delta, the Organization that trains dogs and handlers to go into hospitals, etc, to offer comfort to people. Maybe you should start there? Delta also uses other animals like llamas, ponies, even cats. I just heard about a program here in CA that helps foster kids train shelter dogs and people can volunteer to coach the kids to use positive reinforcement. Eventually I want to use my dog in my work as an MSW, so I think we are thinking similarly I was doing research a little while ago and saw that after you get a degree in social work, psych, or counseling, you can get a certificate in animal assisted therapy. Hi! I have been stalking this thread so I wanted to post when I got news. I got accepted to the two year on site program. My portal changed Thursday evening but I didn't get a new message in the portal until last night. I have not received an email or anything in the post. The same day my portal changed I had written the school an email requesting info. Don't know if it was a coincidence or not. My friend got into the online program a week and a half ago. Her portal changed then she got an email. Dr. Lee just called her to confirm a couple of days ago. I wish everyone the best of luck.
