Forgot to post this on the day of, but received an interview invite from Duquesne on 1/27 ! Super excited as it is my favorite program and number 1 choice.

Is it considered gauche to email faculty and ask if invitations have been sent out? I would ask in order to budget and plan transportation for interviews but if it would be taken in a way that might affect my chances I don't want to risk it

Ok. Yeah they sent an email out right before Holiday break saying they'd be paused until 1/2 so I wasn't sure if that meant they still were in the reviewing process or that they just wouldn't be answering emails. Thank you ?

Anybody have any idea on the decision processes by U Maryland College Park, WUSTL, or Temple? Hard to tell if they are finished with the interview selection process based off what I can find on SDN and TGC.

I'm 24 (but 25 in April) and out of undergrad about 3 years! Been working at a behavioral health hospital for 2 years since grad and really ready to return to research.

I love reading all the different responses !! Okay now I'll ask another question : Which program that you're applying to is your number 1 and why? For me I think its Berkeley because of my POIs lab, the teaching courses, and the colloquia

What are some of your research interests ? I'm applying almost exclusively to labs that focus on reward learning and motivational abnormalities in people with schizophrenia.

I am confident some times and not so confident other times. But I am ALWAYS anxious about it so my strategy has just been to dissociate into video games during all possible free time and to refresh my email AT MOST maybe 25 times a day.

I am incredibly nervous. Applying to 7 schools. 162 (90) Verbal, 159 (73) Quant, 4.5 (82)Writing on GRE and 760 (93) on psych GRE. 3.68 GPA. 2 years of research, 2 years of inpatient work, and one poster presentation. I am hoping that my stats will be enough to at least get me an interview as I match pretty closely with all the labs. Biting my nails and crossing my fingers !
