    They actually contacted me a day after I submitted my app saying that one of my references didn't send a reference, basically telling me that my app wasn't truly completed and they gave me the opportunity to fix it. It was actually their mistake but I think they might be nice enough to let you know if all your documents weren't sent in- this says incomplete because I didn't send my official transcript but I uploaded all my unofficial ones? But I don't think they needed official idk whats going on with that

    I'm not sure if you should presume you're out of anything, you're not first picked but you might be a backup if someone gets into their top program and interview dates crash so they cancel on UCSD. It's also Christmas, maybe they will send more out throughout the week! I'd say don't be so hard on yourself until like Jan 31st haha, all sorts of stuff can happen between then and now.

    Haha yeah, thank you! I'm embarrassed to say but I have a 3.1 I saw that someone with a 3.25 got an interview from Hopkins yesterday so that's cool that we aren't immediately thrown by the wayside. I honestly thought I posted what GPA I had, not so sure why my post didn't show the red diamond. Good luck to you!

    Yeah, neuroscience is a conglomerate of a lot of things so it was hard to decide (not knowing where it has been previous years) where to put this topic- if you're into neurophysiology, this thread could be in the physics section! lots of options but I do agree that the Biology section would get this thread the most exposure. I think I am a humanities person even though I applied for cellular and systems neuro programs and have had a really Biology and Chemistry heavy undergrad curriculum. It would be cool to be a mini Ramachandran running around with Q-tip and creativity to better understand a deficit's pathology. lol I would love to get an interview from UChicago! They have a ton of faculty I am interested in working with, their program looked solid, and Chicago is just so damn beautiful. They are my top choice!

    @neurophysicist13 As much as I say I'm nervous, I think it's kind of fun/consoling to see that I am not alone in worrying about getting an interview. I think that's why this site is up and running honestly- we are a little community of supportive worriers, its great lol. Have you checked out Columbia's current list of students? They like Princeton kids so you're in luck: http://www.neurosciencephd.columbia.edu/current-students I was going to apply there because I noticed they like University of Pittsburgh kids (not as much as Princeton of course) but their online application crashed for like two days just before Dec 1st so I took it as a sign to save some money and apply elsewhere hahah

    @neurophysicist13Is UPenn BGS-Neuro the same as UPenn NGG(neuroscience graduate group)? I just looked it up because I did see on the results section to this website that someone got an interview from UPenn NGG on the 10th. If it is true, I doubt they are done sending out interviews, its only the 15th!

    Hey guys, I just created a new topic for neuroscience PhD program results specifically - I think it would be beneficial to parse out programs into different topics that way we are 1. less confused about what interview at which school for what program and 2.saved from the initial heart drop when we see the name of a school we applied to even though we checked our emails thoughly all day think about joining me! it's the other applicant thread but has the word neuroscience in it,, it's probably hard to miss lol
