  1. PhD in Psychology here -- no idea about housing yet!
  2. Best place to live? Preferably somewhere with utilities included!
  3. Letter came this morning from department chair! Thanks again!
  4. Very much so! I haven't gotten an email from the department chair yet so I was curious!
  5. Congrats to everyone so far! How soon will people start to look for apartments?
  6. I'm confuzzled! Did I miss something? What happened on the results page? Inquiring--re:nosy--minds want to know.
  7. Congrats!! I've decided not to attend OSU, but I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! I have family who lives out in that area!
  8. A thread where people can post their acceptances for the fall and which school they plan to attend! Clinical, counseling, experimental, social, neuroscience, etc -- everyone tell us your good news!
  9. I understand! I'm doing this all while in my final semester of undergrad. I'm missing class time, time to work on my thesis, and other things. Every time I get back from an interview time starts and I have to play catch up to ensure my grades stay up to par and thesis gets done. It can be very stressful, but hang in there! We're almost done!
  10. I've been accepted to some programs and don't have any interview invites pending or anything, BUT I can't stop refreshing my email. This process has totally wrecked me mentally; I refresh my email every five minutes. Idk what I'm expecting to come! Anyway, I just thought I'd share and use this as an opportunity to tell everyone to go out and have fun! I know everyone isn't done yet and some are still waiting, but self care is so important! I encourage everyone to go catch a movie, hang with friends, SOMETHING. Just stop refreshing!! Good things will come!
  11. I've recently went through this. I ended up canceling to save money. This process has been too expensive to go to schools I'm no longer interested in attending.
  12. It seems that it would make more sense, speaking strictly time and money, to just get a PhD in clinical psychology at a research heavy program.
  13. No - I'm waiting to finish all my interviews before I make a decision. I have declined an offer that I knew for sure I would not attend no matter what, though.
  14. Most of my offers have ranged from $13,500 - $25,000. I have no idea what would be enough, but graduate students at each place have said they made it work.
