  1. Really they only accepted 10% of all applications ?? That seems super low doesn't it
  2. @Orgojojo UT-Austin had a very pleasant and organized visit. The faculty and grad students were all very helpful and friendly.
  3. What type of university? R1 or PUI?
  4. Just got an email from Stanford! Materials/inorganic
  5. I don't think so, but based off previous results it looks like another wave could come out either tomorrow or next week
  6. @Chem123 Totally, agree. Have you heard of any domestic students hearing back from Stanford?
  7. Anyone else that got into UIUC, did you get offered a "Roger Adams Fellowship"? I'm trying to figure out if that's just a generic thing they give to everyone but put a fancy name on it
  8. Hi jeromass I received an email from the department and the materials graduate coordinator
  9. @Dibenzofulvene what schools are you expecting to give decisions tomorrow?
  10. Anyone heard from stanford yet? So far I've been accepted to UT austin, ucla, U Mich, TAMU, and UIUC. Still waiting on NW
  11. I don't think it's risky to contact a PI after submitting an application as long as you had some sort of contact with them prior to submitting an app. Worst case they just don't respond to you. Best case they see your name, respond, and take an extra look at your file.
  12. Has anyone been accepted to Northwestern without doing the interview questions?
  13. Did you get an email from UCLA too or only a call from the prof?
  14. Just received an acceptance e-mail from UT-Austin for Inorganic chemistry!
