Not accepted, ended on 1 waitlist and 1 school that never contacted me (looking at you, Mississippi) Working my same job- teaching high schoolers and community college students Reconsidering why I ever considered a shift from I/O, and thinking about HRWD programs - I only want a dr behind my name to be in a university classroom and a HRWD program may have less stringent requirements for publications and GRE quant Best wishes to everyone !!!

Has Alabama contacted anyone ? It is still "sent to department for review" on the webpage Same with Mississippi. Anyone gotten a response? Bueller ? Bueller? Bueller?

My poi told me that I am #1 on waitlist- but the state legislature is cutting funding so they are taking less than they thought. Even if someone rejects, he doesn't know if any waitlist offers will actually be made. It is really upsetting

Hey- saw that some people heard from NIU- how did they contact you? I haven't gotten an e-mail and my application status on my niu is just complete- what does it mean?

In this scenario, I don't think it is a "jerk move" to hold on to the waitlist option- as the 15th approaches, you should hear back, just be sure to let #3 know with a week or 2 to go before the 15th so that your spot can go to someone else. Really hope that it works out for you

I really hope that I hear back- I saw that someone got wait listed, really hoping that the "no response" doesn't denote a rejection.
