I'm heading to CU Boulder!

Chiming in a bit late to say that I applied for the joint program in English and Women's Studies as well! My MA thesis and writing sample concern storytelling as a form of nonviolent resistance against patriarchal panopticons in Larissa Lai's Salt Fish Girl and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale, but I'm hoping to study identity assertion and navigation of liminality by women and queer people in 20th-21st century Abrahamic religious memoirs. Hopefully someone from the boards gets in!

Introduce your entire family to board game cafes and then drag them there weekly. 78. Knit an intensely detailed pair of Harry Potter mittens that probably won't be finished until spring anyway. 79. Long time lurker, first time poster. Anyone else still waiting to find out the status of their application from UMinn-Twin Cities? I saw that a bunch of rejections went out last week, but my portal didn't change from "Final Review" to "Decision Made" until today, and they still won't let me view the decision! My hopes aren't very high anymore so I'm expecting a rejection, but does anyone think there's hope there?
