I think for MIT they would send most of the acceptances in one batch. I think 2 or 3 years ago there was a glitch where they did not hide the list of all the students they sent acceptances to (someone posted the list of the students and then deleted it for privacy purpose)

I think if the guy indeed received official emails (not early congrat email from POI), then probably all acceptances should be sent out today.

what should I do if I am still on the waitlist of my top choice but I also need to respond to other schools that gave me offers by today? Could I decline an accepted offer after April 15?

Sigh it is April 14 and I am still on the waitlist of UMich. I hope that they could send me a rejection letter so that I could move on with life.

I called them today and they told me to expect the result by April 15. I don't know why it took them so long.

I am also waiting for Michigan. I really want to go to Michigan as well. It is my dream choice. Please reject your offer if you are not planning to go
