Hi all! Just got word that I was accepted to UNM from their grad admissions department. Waiting to hear from Iowa to see if I'm accepted there, but if not I'll be going to UNM.

I reached out to them and Deborah responded to me directly, they said they'd be reaching out officially within the next few days.

I got rejected from Brown and UCSD today. Brown with their generic rejection, but UCSD also sent a very sweet email along with theirs saying I was very talented and that they look forward to seeing my work on the stage sometime in the future. So... a let down but a kind let down nonetheless.

I've not gotten an email from Naomi yet and my app says "under review" still, hopefully that means I'm still in the running? Congratulations @greenchile!

emailed UCSD to inquire about my application, and they've replied "No word yet". Anyone else who applied there heard anything, any other updates on their funding situation? Their app deadline was a month later this year so I'm not expecting anything immediate.

@lrb0192 Congrats on the interview at Brown! I haven't heard back from them yet, so I'm assuming if they don't contact me within the next few days that's a rejection. And it's unfortunate about UCSD. Does anyone know if the anti-union laws that are trying to get passed in Iowa will affect their financial assistance for incoming students?

Applied to UCSD, Brown, Iowa, and just now starting my app for UNM. Does anybody know what UNM means when they say "10-20 page unbound academic writing sample"? Do they mean a play? Or something more academic like what I did in undergrad? I went to art school and don't have any academic writing from undergrad haha.
