  1. I don’t know exact numbers or anyone specifically that got in off the waitlist last year. I do know of several classmates that got into both schools, so that alone freed up spaces last year.
  2. I'm pretty sure I've made my decision to take myself off the waitlist at Western Washington and accept my offer at WSU. I'll be sleeping on it tonight, but I made a pros and cons list this afternoon and found that I really only had two reasons for wanting to attend Western over WSU, and loads of reasons to stay at WSU.
  3. I don't, but undergrad at WSU was $200 so I'd guess at least that.
  4. I wish I could but I do NOT have the money for two deposits! Otherwise I'd be keeping my name on that wait list all the way till classes start for sure.
  5. Waitlisted at Western! Will be holding out till verrrrrry close to April 15th, but as I've said I'll be more than happy to stay at WSU if that doesn't pan out.
  6. A lot of people got in off the waitlist last year! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and will let them know promptly if I DO get into WWU to free up a spot for a deserving person like you)!
  7. I finally got an acceptance! Woooo!!! Still waiting on WWU (top choice), but I'll be more than happy to continue at WSU if it's not good news from Western.
  8. Received decisions from both EWU (waitlist) and WSU (accepted) this afternoon. Still waiting on WWU and Idaho State. Previously waitlisted ("third tier") at Utah State.
  9. I was surprised by that too! My interview was waaay back on 3/2.
  10. For those who have been anxiously awaiting news from Western Washington, fret not. They moved the notification dates back. Their site now says that decisions have been made and acceptances will be coming via email from 3/20-3/24. Waitlists and rejections are still indicated to be coming closer to the end of the month. I was glad for the clarification of the method of notification too!
  11. I am anxiously awaiting some sort of news from WWU. I just want to know at this point. I haven't been accepted anywhere yet (but only one of my schools has sent decisions). As far as EWU, I haven't seen a date from them, but WSU has said the 24th and their interviews were running at the same time so probably around then.
  12. One campus, two totally separate application processes. The programs also have different grad requirements: EWU requires a research project, WSU has the option of that or an oral case presentation.
