    Still a considerable upgrade when you consider where the studios were before. I'd take a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) to the pier over a 30 minute drive in traffic to the Dogpatch neighborhood. It's also a major leg up on CCA, where a lot of facilities are located across the bay in Oakland while all the grad studios are in SF.

    Not that this says anything about the quality of the programs, but have you seen SFAI's new grad studios at the Fort Mason pier? Woah daddy

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I called the office about a week ago and they said admitted students had been notified...it would be nice if they updated the online portal to say something besides 'In Review'

    I also applied to ASU for photography and haven't heard a peep yet. I've been ready to pull the trigger on Arizona (my other top choice) since mid February but felt the need to wait it out with ASU...but my patience is wearing thin at this point. I looked at the forum from last year and it seems like they might notify people via the status in the web portal...just checking it every day and waiting for it to say something besides 'In Review'

    Good luck at Rutgers! I'm also from Chicago and love the program at Columbia, however there doesn't appear to be a lot of funding options for me. Regardless, I'm hoping to move out West at some point, so I guess it kind of makes sense to look at the Arizona programs. AZ offered me a pretty substantial funding package, so it will be hard to pass up. Hope the interview goes well tomorrow!

    Hey MFA Photo folks, Just wondering where all people have applied to and heard back from....I've interviewed and been accepted to Arizona and Columbia College, but haven't heard anything from ASU. Anyone else apply there and hear back yet? Best of luck to everyone.
