DLB

For anyone who didn't get in to school this year and might be looking to gain experience (but already has a background at least studying child development), take a look at this posting! I covered this maternity leave last year in central BC and learned SO much...and really think it is the reason I was accepted to SLP this year. And it was awesome to experience smaller northern communities, not to mention the people were so friendly and it is beautiful up there!! Yeah! My McGill offer just expired, and I just e-mailed to accept my U of A offer on April 5th and haven't even heard an unofficial e-mail back to confirm that... just a taaad bit nerve wracking haha I'm sure it will be fine. They said the deadline is April 13 because she's on vacation?

Just got an acceptance e-mail from UofA too!! and McGill last week...definitely was not anticipating having to make a decision between schools! I'm from BC and haven't been to either city -- if anyone has input I would be happy to hear it!

Congrats guys! I also just had a voicemail from McGill and got in yesterday...and definitely wasn't expecting to. Waiting to hear from U of A as well and I feel the same (if I were to get in there). There aren't really any sites that compare programs so I have no idea which would be better a better fit!

Just found this forum, wish I would have seen this while writing applications! I'm also waiting to hear back from UofA and McGill...fingers crossed its this weeeek, it's not easy living in limbo haha
