Hey guys! Any Korea ETA's here who I haven't yet talked to?? We made a KakaoTalk group so we can all chat - send me your KakaoID so I can add you!

Hey! I'm also a Korea ETA finalist! There is the Fulbright Grant Applicants group with current Fulbrighters, Fulbright finalists, applicants, etc. I asked on that group if there was a Korea ETA 2017-2018 group yet or if I should make one, and a girl who is a current Korea ETA said that the KAEC will make an official group for us soon - maybe waiting for medical clearances and all that!

omg this was happening to me so bad before i found out! ..and of course, the one time i was at a movie theater and couldn't check my phone and stress is when i received my notification lol.. hang in there!

That sounds so amazing! Did you study Korean studies in undergrad?? I'm crossing my fingers for you and hoping that you get it - would be awesome to see someone so passionate get this degree and put it to use!

I applied for Korea ETA. I'm also pursuing an opportunity to volunteer with the Community Chest of Korea and other nonprofits hoping to learn and study more about Autism Spectrum Disorder in Korea. I have a brother with ASD and have spent a lot of time tutoring ASD children and worked with nonprofit groups in my state to write policy for ASD initiatives, so I would really love a chance to learn more about what the country with the highest ASD prevalence but also one of the highest stigmas against ASD and mental health disorders are doing for their citizens. If I don't get the Fulbright, I will probably apply to teach with EPIK, but my side project might be totally lost. I studied abroad in Korea in 2014, and I just really really need to go back ㅠㅠ

Not going to lie, this kind of made me tear up a little bit. You guys are all so amazing and brilliant - couldn't be more thankful to embark on this journey with you! Cheers, indeed! OMG okay i watched the first two episodes for free on drama fever but i've been trying to earn more watching credits to upgrade my account to premium. i'm on a mad hunt to find it for free somewhere now

will definitely follow you up on the recommendations! i studied abroad in jochiwon in the spring of 2014 and fell completely in love w Korea, the people and the culture. would love to get more suggestions on places to explore and chat k-pop/k-dramas w someone

my anxiety is getting me closer and closer to calling, i just don't know if we will get any real answers
