  1. Hey there! I was recently accepted into 2 (of 5) grad schools my first year applying and had a relatively low (3.03) overall GPA. My last 60 was close to 3.7-3.8, so I'm not sure if my situation applies. I was accepted to a school that has an interview process, and although it was stressful leading up to the interview, I had the opportunity to showcase my personality and explain the areas of weakness in my application. If it helps, I took about 8 years to finish my undergraduate degree and int he first year and a half of that degree I was suspended twice for poor grades. I never thought I would be accepted, but made an effort to gain relevant experience, have competitive GRE scores, and explain my low GPA in my personal statement. Don't avoid the subject. It may be wise to retake a few classes with low grades. You may find that being accepted may take a few years, but don't let that stop you if you can't imagine doing anything else. Let the admissions committee see persistence and passion instead of a low GPA.
  2. Thank you! Congrats to you too! I spoke with Diana on Friday and she said they would send out information shortly. They are updating some information. I wish I had more details! I was so happy to receive a phone call but I'm pretty sure I forgot everything because I was so excited! Hopefully we will hear by the end of this week!

  4. Hey everyone! I made a page for those who were accepted to Pacific and will be starting this Fall! I am almost certainly accepting my offer, but feel free to join if you're still deciding. I'm so excited to meet everyone! https://www.facebook.com/groups/925323330904116/
  5. Hello there! I received a phone call from Pacific last week and haven't received an official acceptance letter yet. Has anyone heard from them yet? I read that funding offers will be sent with official acceptance letters. I'm eager to see if I received funding and need to see the email in order for everything to sink in! Also, current students: How do you justify the high price of tuition? Pacific is my top choice but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the price of tuition. Thanks!
