  1. @WestCoastSpeechie Congrats! I think it'd be great if you could start a Facebook Group (:
  2. ME! I had the exact same train of thought about wanting to get in anywhere, so I never thought about the possibility.. I've been kind of stressed out about the decision too.
  3. I got my official letter in the mail today! (Although, I heard back from them two weeks ago, so I'm not sure if that changes anything?)
  4. @WestCoastSpeechie I think the calls they've made thus far are primarily early acceptances (what I gather from the letter, anyway). They said "by the end of March", so hang in there!
  5. Hi all! Just an update for whoever may want to know, UBC is calling successful applicants now too! Good luck!
  6. @mizuro Thank you, and congrats to you too! Thanks for the input! Yeah, I've spoken to two SLPs who've gone through the program at UBC, and they do seem to have loved it! I got a pretty great breakdown of the program and it definitely does sound like a challenge, but I guess we all knew that would be the case when we applied. By no means have I heard back from Western nor UBC, but I don't know how I could ever go about deciding which school would be the best fit--so if you (or anyone else!) has any recommendations as to what would be important factors to consider, let me know! (:
  7. Hi all! I only just found this thread now... (what a waste!) Good luck to all of us who are still waiting! I heard from McGill today, so they're definitely contacting people about now. (: As for UBC, the site says to expect decisions by the end of the month, and for ORPAS, I got an email (from Western) stating that decisions will be posted on March 31st--so take a breath till then! I was wondering if anyone could give me some input with regards to the pros/cons of the programs at McGill, UBC, and Western. I read someone else's post that UBC tends to be more theoretical in their focus (which, as an undergrad at UBC, I can't say I'm terribly surprised by). Would anyone be able to give me more information about the programs and Western and McGill as well? I've not had a whole lot of opportunities to connect with students at these schools, so I'd appreciate any input from you all! Again, all the best everyone!
