  1. I know! The essays for all of the schools almost killed me. I was going to apply to around 13 schools when I first started, but narrowed down to 3 because I was so sick of writing all of those essays! It helped narrow down which schools I really wanted to go to though.
  2. Hey, so I got into Penn, the University of Michigan, and the University of Maryland (the three schools I applied to) for my MSW (Master's in Social Work). I am completely lost with the idea of which school to go to...and I need help! I want to work in policy so I have kind of ruled out Maryland since they don't have that as a concentration (it's social action and community development...kind of similar, but not exactly). Penn and UMich are both good programs and they both have policy concentrations so I need some major help in deciding where to go! Any suggestions?
  3. This is so funny...where did you do your undergrad? I went to WKU for my undergrad and I personally don't find it too academically challenging. I only took one anthropology class there (anthropology of gender) so it might be an amazing department, but I just know from my experience the school as a whole isn't that great. I got into UPenn too so I'm kind of having the same issue over if I should go there or to the University of Michigan. I don't know how much your department's tuition is, but compared to what I thought Penn would cost it's really not that bad. I don't know too much about USC, but I can imagine it's a good enough school.
  4. What I have always been told is to just accept them so they hold your spot. Some of my schools have had really early acceptance deadlines so I accepted them so it would give me more time to make the decision. You might lose a $250ish deposit so it depends on if it is worth it.
