Hi everyone, I have been accepted to the 2-year MSW program at the University of Toronto (so far I have only been notified via ACORN). Good news - I will NOT be accepting this offer - so someone on the waitlist will get my place! I applied last year for this program, and was waitlisted (and ultimately rejected). So, I know how it feels! I got a better offer (for what I want to do). I'll be doing my Masters of Counselling/Psychotherapy at OISE/University of Toronto. Good luck to everyone! Be hopeful and always try again if it doesn't work out this year.

Not totally sure, but I also heard UofT accepts 140 students *but* thats across 6 specializations! I doubt the acceptances are evenly divided, cause I've also heard the Mental Health and Health specialization is the largest (which is the one I applied to...for the 2 year...ugh). but here's hoping!!! UofT also has more applicants than most schools, so it tends to even out in terms of acceptance rate%. It's all so competitive! so don't feel too bad for not applying to UofT this year, but definitely try next cycle!!

Still waiting to hear back from UofT for the 2-year MSW (waitlisted)...any updates anyone? Has anyone heard anything from Angela/past years/current students/rumour mill? Thanks, much appreciated!!!

Congrats!! How did you find out that you were able to send Angela an updated resume? I know in the waitlist letter it says that if you are completing your last year you can send in your updated transcript (semester 2 final grades)...but I didn't know about the resume! Thanks for letting us know! When did you send yours and how...via email?
