  1. Congrats! It's so hard to find teaching positions nowadays. To me, this definitely shows your brilliance!
  2. Omgosh, I'm so sorry that you're going through this. Can you report this person? Please know that nomatter what your result is, it's not a reflection on your intelligence, skill, and worth.
  3. @milaraI think it's best to resist the temptation to read into the scoring. There's so many things we don't know with SSHRC - who our competition is, the specialization of those assessing us. As an ABD, I also know I'm competing with folks that have their PhD, perhaps have held another postdoc, and therefore likely have more "output" than me. However, I will say, my rejection last year put me into a funk about my future in academia. This year, I'm feeling more confident in my capabilities as an academic, so the news isn't hitting as hard.
  4. Unsuccessful in Committee 6 as well. Second time applying. Ugh. My capabilities score also lowered, which is odd since I've added more publications and other things since my last application.
  5. Just came across this - https://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca/funding-financement/merit_review-evaluation_du_merite/selection_committees-comites_selection/postdocs_2020-postdoctorat_2020-eng.aspx I assume those are last year's committee members.
  6. I received my Extranet email and password back in December. If your a doctoral SSHRC recipient, it may have come sooner.
  7. In previous years, I believe the results were emailed if the letter wasn't received within two weeks of the mailing date. Last year, it was mailed on Feb 28. I received my rejection (sigh) around March 5th.
  8. I'm going into third year, so bit of a different situation, but I was told that as long as the department approves the change, and as long as the focus is still within SSHRC's mandate, there's nothing that needs to be done.
  9. I think in a previous post you mentioned that you're at York? You can call FGS and they'll tell you. That's how I found out my results.
