Hello, I'm doing my university project, in which I have to create computer model of an engine as accurate as possible, using Artec Spider 3d scanner and a CAD software. I've heared that this is not the best scanner for this. I mean everybody says that it's better to use a laser scanner, but I can't choose, I was given this one. But I can choose CAD by myself, so can anyone reccomend me the best option. I have a little experience in AutoCad and Rhinoceros 3D, but maybe you can recommend me the better option?
