  1. Hi I wanted to know what are the chances of getting admitted for an M.Ed program in Canada, without having a B.Ed. I have a business degree at undergrad level, but a professional teaching qualification (CELTA) and some part-time teaching experience.
  2. So my wife and I are going to move to Canada (PR process nearing the end). Neither of us have an undergrad in teaching, but both of us have been teaching for a while and are quite sure that teaching is the most fulfilling thing we've ever done and this is what we want to pursue in the long run. While she has had full time teaching experience, I've completed my CELTA and have been teaching part-time only. In this context, what would comprise of a "good application" to M.Ed programs? We're should be done with our GRE's by October - but that's really it. We're at a bit of a loss as to what else we could be doing to build a strong case. For instance, we can't provide relevant letters of recommendation, since both of us studied Business in undergrad level. I know letters of recommendation are crucial for programs in USA, is that also the case for Canada? Especially high-ranked programs like that of OISE? Any kind of suggestions would be helpful in this regard!
