Hi, I funded by my department yet the Student Center states that I'm due the full tuition amount. Anyone else dealing with this ? How do you solve this ? Also - anyone know what the Student Activites Fee of 38$ is about. When is it due? Is it a mandatory fee ? It seems that my tuition waiver does not include this. Should I pay it ?

I agree with the above poster. you're a douche. and seriously, it's the lecturer you should be complaining about not the student. If you had a real life job and your boss took a nasty customer's side instead of your, you wouldn't have been oh-my-godding about the customer, but how awful your boss treats you. why the difference ?

Our visiting/interview day ends at a dinner party in a Professor's house. Should i get the hosting prof. anything ? usually, if i go to diner, i will always bring something. this situation if of course a bit different. What do you think ?

Hi, I've been rejected from U of Michigan, which threw me off a bit, but after looking at the results page and seeing how many rejections they've sent I'm feeling a bit better. I've had an interview in Harvard and have one set for U of Orgeon. I'm really anxious about the other 7(!) schools I've applied to - especially Cornell, U of Colorado at Boulder and Princeton. anyone heard from them ? two questions : 1. Does any school accept applicants without interviewing first ? 2. Walking away from an interview - how do you know to judge your performance ?
