  1. I'm currently attending CU (PhD Student here). CU Boulder does NOT fund MA students. Having said that, some MA students end up getting RA positions in the second year, and sometimes TA positions. These appointments will cover part of your tuition, but not all of it. Also, if you are interested in the ESL track you might want to contact Mia Ruzic. Decent GRE's and TOEFL scores will be enough for the MA program.
  2. OSU, Penn State and CUNY made their decisions a while ago.
  3. About CUNY: I know that their acceptance emails/calls/letters have been out for a while now. If you haven't heard anything, you may want to contact the program.
  4. I know people at CUNY and Columbia. I also know that Columbia already has its shortlist.
  5. CUNY's list should be out VERY soon. I heard their committee met last week!
  6. Hello Boulder people, I contacted the dept and here is what they told me: Dear XXXX, The Graduate Admissions Committee will be meeting throughout February and March to evaluate and consider applications. An admissions decision should be made by the end of March.
  7. The acceptance letter arrived yesterday! No info on funding, though.
  8. Many thanks! It's just that my POI told me that their admissions process is quite intricate. You have to be accepted by the department, than by the Grad School. After that, your fate (at least financially) is decided in a meeting with professors and administrators. It's so complicated it's hard to know where I stand! But many thanks!
  9. Hi all, Do you guys know what "university acceptance" mean? I read some previous posts on the results page, but am afraid of jumping to conclusions just yet. Tks!
