Alguien por aquí que se sume? Luego los cuento por cuál me decidí. Y Lolu, nada de bien jodida, en algunos casos hay que esperar un toque más. Y si tienes dudas escribe. I couldn´t wait and I sent an e mail to Stanford. I was rejected, the graduate assistant scanned a copy of my letter. I am sad, I thought I had some chances. Besides this my boyf is already studying there. Whatever, I have been admitted to other programs. I am over now! It´s been a plesure. Lo mejor para todos y voy a seguir entrando al foro por si acaso! Lolu: estoy en una situación similar a la tuya. Muero por "emailear" a Stanford pero mi novio me ha dicho que no es lo más conveniente. Ya sabes de otros que han sido aceptados o rechazados? Yo de Stanford no tengo ni idea. Se que en Comparative literature ya mandaron todo pero no en nuestro programa. Mi recomendación es que esperes unos días más a ver qué tal y que, por supuesto, si alguien del foro tiene data que la comparta, tal como lo hizo aquel chico que tenía un amigo en Berkeley que había sido admitido. Here Tenor Cervantes, I applied to Iberian and Latin American literatures and cutlures at Stanford. I havent heard from them yet. I cannot log in the site. Do you have the same problem? I am really anxious!

The visiting day is March the 5th. Maybe, I was told in advanced because I don´t live in the US. I have not received a formal letter from the Graduate Department but a professor called me and told me about my admission. Besides this, a secretary sent me a e mail about the visiting day and stuff. As I can not become a resident of the US during my PhD, I was offered an acelerated phd. I am telling you all this because you (Germaine) and the rest may have chances to be admitted in the regular program. I hope it will be like this if UCSC is one of your top choices. xoxo

Hey guys! i have been admitted to phd in literature of UCSC. I dont know if the same program you are talking about. My interest is Latin American literature. A prof. called me last week and sent me the funding offer. Sorry if I have mistaken the program or something. My aim is to be helpful.

Congrats on your admission to American, estresada. I have not received any news from UCB either. I have checked the results and there are no news. Maybe tomorrow, since today is holiday. Thank you so much for your answer Estresada! I am anxious too!! Of course you should be optimistic at Washington University in St. Louis, it is a great university. Perhaps you can negotiate something when you attend to the visiting day. I have been admitted in UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz. I will be attended to their visiting days. Anyone else coming?
