Comparative Literature Rankings

6 posts in this topic

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone could give me a ranking of the top comp. lit. programs? I just got into UC Irvine for comp. lit. but I have no idea whether it is a good program.

Thanks,

Ariel

I'd go by U.S. News English rankings and Times Higher Education rankings for overall reputation. Irvine has a good program. Did you get accepted to other schools? You can't always trust the NRC rankings. For instance they rank Maryland at the top with Harvard etc, but that's not really in line with its reputation.
