I suppose nothing is stopping you from retaking and sending them late...it's just a matter of timeframe and by the time I do send them/they receive the scores...they'll probably think i'm crazy and should worry about something else! maybe they're right! but i don't want the dept to get the wrong impression (i.e. that I can't write complete sentences in ENGLISH at the very least, and cannot read for my life). my quant was ironically very high, even though I can make stupid errors when doing calculations, etc. ahhh what to do??

Then you should probably retake it. I guess it's different if your first language isn't English. Me, I'm hoping they'll make the connection between my low scores and the fact that English is not my mother tongue, then see from my sample that I don't suck that bad
--Me too I had way higher scores in the quantitative sections...

Maquinadoser: si ya hicieron ofertas a otros candidatos no quiere decir que ya estás descartadx--es la primera vez que aplico así que estoy suponiendo todo eso--,pero me imagino que si no estuvieran interesados en lo absoluto ya te hubieran rechazado; si, al contrario, a alguien a quien ya le han hecho una oferta la rechaza, te contactarán después.

Yo quiero estudiar la interacción entre la España exiliada (escritores republicanos exiliados) y su producción cultural eurocentrista en México--en relación con un momento de crisis identitaria (y cultural).

Yo quería aplicar a UPenn pero se me acabaron los fondos jeje. Ya nos avisaremos si nos llega algo de NYU, Columbia o Pitt

I said "no thanks" and hung up as fast as I could, but I still think they called at the exact same time--in which case I'm confused as per why they didn't try calling again.
Should I call or write? What to say?
