I'm currently a Boren National Security Scholar in the Middle East and am strongly considering Middlebury's MA in Arabic. I have taken two Middlebury programs in Arabic (Summer 6 week intensive at Mills and Middle East School/Alexandria (cut short by the revolution)) and the programs (Arabic Studies & Arabic Language Pedagogy) look very good. Does anyone have any experience with them -or their rankings ?

Harvard CMES (accepted by mail),  Georgetown SFS MAAS (accepted by email) SAIS Strategic Studies (accepted on website), Middlebury Summer Arabic Grad (awaiting reply) Fall 2013.

Harvard students and professors hold the school in high regard, if that's worth anything.

Finished 2012: Harvard MTS in New Testament and Early Christianity
Applying 2012: PhD's in Judaism and Christianity/Jewish Studies/Second Temple Judaism/New Testament/Christian Origins at Brown, Notre Dame, Harvard (ThD) (PhD), Yale, Princeton, U Penn, Duke, Emery, U Michigan, UT Austin, Toronto, Boston U, Boston College, and Fulbright to Germany

Attending: Fulbright to Germany
