Hey did anyone here from Stanford or Berkeley's ME program? Or know when they will sent out their decisions, when their visiting days are, etc?

I have a friend who got admitted to the MS Mech program at Stanford in early February. She had a fellowship interview on February 16th. I am not sure about the Mech department at Stanford, but Aeronautics and Astronautics department already sent out all admits and rejections.

BTW, my friend who got the fellowship from Mech program did Aerospace Engr in her undergrad. It is much easier to get an admit and a subsequent funding offer from stanford if you apply to their Mech E program compared to their Aero-Astro since the former has undergraduate students that require TAs.

There you have it, CMU just gave me their decision. I'm waitlisted for the ME Ph.D. program.

Anybody else waiting on CMU should hear back soon if you haven't already.

Anybody else hear from UPenn or UMichigan on admissions decisions?

Me too. It seems they sent out the waitlisted results all at once since so many people seem to have been emailed the same thing today.
The wait continues.

Round 2 - Applied: UW, VT, RPI, UMCP, CU-B, ASU, NCSU.
Accepted: RPI, NCSU, CU-B, VT, ASU
Rejected: UW

Decision made B)

I got waitlisted at UPenn after calling admissions. Anybody else waiting on UPenn should have heard their status already. If not, you are probably waitlisted, call admissions for exact status.

Let's hope something goes through, looks like I'll have to wait until the end of April to see what my options are.

Does anyone know if Stanford ME Dept has sent out all their PhD acceptances ?

I'm feeling by now it's a rejection but a confirmation would be nice.

For PhD, Stanford typically do not grant admission unless you have prior funding and supervision arrangements with your POI.

I recently finished my MSc there and did an internal transition to the PhD program. I believe the admit day is early April and it's for MSc only.

Would you happen to know if all the acceptances have been sent by Stanford for MS MechE? Thanks.

The email sent by CMU says that you have been waitlisted and a decision will be made by April 30th. A few lines later it says that the waitlisted students will be ranked on April 30th. What does it mean ?

guys has anyone heard from Purdue ME for Phd ??? My application is still under reveiw and no decision has been made yet on it. Although talking to them last week revealed this " There have not been any denials done as they will be finalizing admits by the 31st of this month." cryptic as it may be what i understand from it is that no one has been denied as yet but the admits will be finalized by end of this month.

anyone else has some input would be grateful. ???
