Hello - I'm thinking of applying to grad school later this fall and I'd be interested in seeing writing samples from successful applicants, especially if you got into a prestigious university. I'm interested mostly in American history, though any kind of history paper would be fine. Any other field would do too, I suppose, but I'm better able to judge the quality of history papers. If anyone is concerned about sharing their work with a total stranger (and that's perfectly understandable), perhaps just share the first 3-5 pages or so? That's far too short a sample for graduate programs but might still give me the firmer impression I'm seeking.

You can find great samples by searching. Search for images you will see the whole sample and also compare a few to make a good one of your one. Good luck.
